Dubai, UAE — March 6, 2024 — The Rapid MVP Forum concluded successfully at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, bringing together an international group of IT experts, Chief Product Officers (CPOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), and Digital Directors from leading Finance and IT companies. The forum provided valuable insights and strategies for efficiently developing and rolling out a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
The event focused on innovative strategies for MVP development, including incorporating features to enhance digital products, leveraging data-driven approaches for hypothesis testing, and creating seamless user experiences for maximum customer satisfaction.

The event began with expert lectures by a curated panel of experts. Headliners include FinServices’ CPO of Mobile Product, Revolut’s Product owner, IWebGrocer’s Product Manager, and imaga’s CBDO Dmitry Akhmetov:

In their expert lecture, Dmitry Akhmetov, Imaga's CBDO, and Madina Abaeva, CPO of Mobile Product at FinService, shared insights on launching an MVP within a tight timeframe of 5 months amid uncertain conditions.
They highlighted vital aspects such as where to begin regarding product development, emphasizing the importance of research, data analytics, and competitor analysis. Additionally, they touched on the significance of adopting a product-centric approach and fostering effective team dynamics. The discussion also went into identifying essential features for the initial MVP iteration, acknowledging mistakes as opportunities for growth, and the crucial role of UX/UI design in finding the right balance between aesthetics, usability, and development speed.

Following Dmitry and Madina, Alexey Ivashentsev, Product Owner at Revolut, shared insights into the best practices for building MVPs within a larger product. He discussed the qualities of a good MVP, compared MVPs to MLPs in hypothesis testing, and outlined strategies for maintaining the MVP mindset with mature products. Alexey also provided examples from his work on referrals as an acquisition channel, covering aspects such as product logic, economics metrics like CPA, LTV, and ROI, as well as experiments and MVPs implemented for Revolut Business and Revolut Pro.

The last lecture was conducted by Anton Matkovskiy, Product Manager at IWebGrocer, who provided invaluable insights into launching MVPs efficiently. He shared practical strategies for leveraging available tools to deploy a product within a remarkably short timeframe of 3 hours. Anton also highlighted essential metrics to track during the product launch and discussed the decision-making process between Go and Non-Go. Furthermore, he elucidated the distinctions between MVPs and the final product, clarifying their respective roles and objectives.

The forum also included a workshop, allowing participants to engage in interactive discussions and practical exercises. This is a new format introduced by Imaga specifically for networking and brainstorming. Attendees collaborated with fellow project leaders to shape their digital product development strategy. They shared insights, acquired new skills, and worked in teams alongside industry experts. In an interactive session, attendees devised solutions for digital product development under expert guidance. Following this, they presented their findings to a panel of judges for evaluation and received constructive feedback to enhance their product.
